Congratulations to Meghan Brooks Lane-Fall, MD, MSHP, FCCM, RISE Cohort 5, who has been appointed as the David E. Longnecker Associate Professor of Anesthesiology and Critical Care.
The professorship recognizes the quality and international impact of Dr. Lane-Fall’s research on teamwork, communication, and implementation science in critical care medicine; work that is now NIH funded. Dr. Lane-Fall is a senior fellow at the Leonard Davis Institute, Co-director of the Center for Perioperative Outcomes Research and Transformation (CPORT), and also serves as the department’s Vice Chair for Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity. Nationally, Dr. Lane-Fall has been elected to the AUA, and is on the Board of Directors of APSF. Meghan is a graduate of Yale University School of Medicine and came to Penn for her Anesthesia residency as the first Dripps Scholar.
