Job Summary: The Department of Immunology and Microbiology at the University of Colorado Anschutz School of Medicine invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor level. Candidates with strong research plans in the general fields of Immunology and Microbiology and at the intersection of infection and host response are encouraged to apply. Examples of research areas of particular interest include virus/host response, mucosal immunity and response to mucosal infections, computational immunology, vaccine biology, and inflammatory or immune responses to infections and cancer. Preferred candidates will have well-developed interdisciplinary research plans that employ innovative approaches with human or animal models to study mechanisms of immunity to pathogens or cancer.
