The Frank R. Seaver College of Science and Engineering invites applicants with expertise in kinesiology and/or exercise science for a tenure-track position as Assistant Professor in the Department of Health and Human Sciences beginning Fall 2022. The tenure-track position is a 9-month contract from August 15-May 15 of each academic year. Salaries for faculty are highly competitive along with all applicable benefits.
The successful candidate will incorporate expertise into teaching courses to support the Department Mission (http://cse.lmu.edu/department/healthandhumansciences/). Priority areas of instruction for this position are in exercise physiology along with human anatomy and physiology. Other areas of teaching will depend on the individual expertise and could include coursework in kinesiology, biomechanics, strength and conditioning, public health, healthcare administration, global and community health, or bioethics.
